The Castle of Heart and Stone

We are often forced to find our groove, our curve, our road in life. For some, it's following where others have gone before. For others, it's blazing that trail others may one day follow.

For me, I don't know what's planned for me, but I'm inclined to start living my own way. This being said, it's not just any old way, necessarily. I still follow God's precepts to the best of my ability, ask forgiveness for my shortcomings, and try to do as much as I can for Him and His kingdom.

But short of that, I'll live as I feel best for me.

So, in short, here's how I will choose to live:

I will live as richless nobility - open to all but free to none. I will live according to the spirit within, giving as I can to those without, and working to keep my eyes on the true King all the while. I will shape my steps to remain at peace, according to precepts of wisdom available to be learned all around, and choose with whom I will be with and how I will associate with them.

To leave that to life's dictates is letting control go. We cannot control everything in our lives, but why not control as much as we can? Otherwise, we bounce to and fro on the waves of drama and emotion.

I don't know about you, but I hate drama, and emotion is to be controlled, lest it take you into places you do not know and cannot easily return from.
